A 5cl share bottle of a single malt from the Aultmore distillery in Speyside, distilled in 2008 and bottled independently under the MahJong Project (一索) label. An octave is a small cask, and smaller casks usually mean more wood contact and a faster pick up of cask character.

Tasting notes

Speyside malt finished in a small cask typically shows orchard and dried fruit with more pronounced oak spice, vanilla and a fuller, slightly drying finish than a standard cask bottling.
