Santenay sits at the southern end of the Cote de Beaune, and it's one of the villages people look to when the better-known white Burgundy names get out of reach. The label says Vieilles Vignes / Ceps Centenaires, meaning the fruit comes off very old vines.

Tasting notes

White Burgundy from this area usually shows citrus and white orchard fruit with a mineral edge and a dry finish. Chill it, but let it warm slightly in the glass before you judge it.
