Paul Jaboulet Domaine Mule Blanche Crozes Hermitage 2020 (1x75cl)

A white Crozes-Hermitage from the Northern Rhone, which by appellation rule is made from Marsanne and Roussanne. If your table usually splits between Chardonnay drinkers and people who want something a bit fuller, this is the bottle that keeps everyone quiet.

Good with roast chicken, steamed fish with ginger and spring onion, or a plate of pork chops. Serve it cool but not ice cold, around 10 to 12 degrees, so the texture actually shows.

Tasting notes

Marsanne and Roussanne whites typically show white peach, pear and a touch of honeysuckle, with a rounder, almost waxy texture and gentler acidity than most northern-climate whites. Usually more about weight than sharpness.
