A single vineyard Pinot Noir from Gap's Crown in the Sonoma Coast, and a 2015 — so around ten years of bottle age. Single vineyard means the fruit all comes from one site instead of being blended across the region, which is why these bottles tend to taste more specific.

Pinot Noir is the red that works when the food isn't heavy: roast duck, mushroom dishes, Peking duck pancakes. Serve it slightly cool, around 15 degrees.

Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir usually shows red cherry and raspberry with a savoury, earthy side, and after ten years typically adds dried tea leaf and forest floor notes over silky, light tannins.
