Village level Chablis from the 2022 vintage — Chardonnay from northern Burgundy, where the style is usually lean and dry rather than buttery. If someone tells you they don't like Chardonnay, this is the kind of Chardonnay that changes their mind.

The obvious match is oysters and seafood, so it earns its place at any dim sum lunch or steamed fish dinner. Keep it in the fridge and pull it out when guests arrive.

Tasting notes

Chablis typically shows green apple, lemon and white flowers with a chalky, dry finish, and usually very little oak character compared with warmer Chardonnay regions.
