Michel & Stephane Ogier Mon Village Cote Rotie AOP 2015 (1x150cl)

Mon Village is Ogier's approachable side of Côte-Rôtie, made from Syrah grown on the steep terraces above the Rhône. The magnum format is a nice choice if you're planning a bigger dinner and don't want to open a second bottle halfway through.

Northern Rhône Syrah like this pairs naturally with grilled or roasted meat, and usually benefits from an hour of air before serving.

Tasting notes

Côte-Rôtie Syrah typically shows dark fruit, black pepper, and a savoury, slightly smoky edge, with the structure to age but enough charm to enjoy on release.
