Markus MolitorZeltinger Sonnenuhr Riesling Auslese *** 2015 (1x75cl)

A sweet Riesling at Auslese ripeness from the Zeltinger Sonnenuhr vineyard in the Mosel, from the 2015 vintage. Mosel Riesling at this level is sweet but not heavy, because the acidity keeps it lively.

Try it with spicy food, roast duck, or blue cheese, and it also works on its own as a dessert. Riesling like this can age for a long time if you'd rather hold it.

Tasting notes

Mosel Auslese typically shows peach, apricot, honey and a lime-like acidity, sometimes with a faint petrol note as it ages. Low in alcohol and usually best around 8-10°C.
