Louis Guntrum Riesling Niersteiner Trocken 2018 (1x75cl)

This is a dry ("Trocken") Riesling from Nierstein in Germany's Rheinhessen region, made by Louis Guntrum. Rheinhessen Riesling is generally lighter and more approachable than some of Germany's steeper, more mineral-driven regions.

Good with spicy food, Thai or Cantonese dishes with a bit of chilli, or just a light white for a warm evening.

Tasting notes

Dry Rheinhessen Riesling typically shows green apple and citrus with the grape's usual bright acidity, finishing crisp and dry rather than sweet.
