JAVILLIER Patrick, Bourgogne Cote d'Or Blanc Cuvee Oligocene 2021 (1x75cl)

White Burgundy from the Cote d'Or, Chardonnay through and through. This is the kind of bottle that quietly makes a seafood dinner better without asking for much attention.

Good with steamed fish, scallops, roast chicken or a cheese course. Serve it cool but not ice cold, around 10-12C, so the texture has room to show.

Tasting notes

Cote d'Or Chardonnay usually shows citrus, white peach and a hint of hazelnut, with a mineral edge and typically a rounder texture when it has seen some time in barrel.
