J.L. Chave Selection Cotes du Rhone Rouge Mon Coeur 2022 (1x75cl)

A Syrah-based Cotes du Rhone red, and one of those bottles that suits a normal Tuesday as much as a proper dinner. Chave Selection is the negociant side of a well-known Rhone name, and Mon Coeur is its everyday red.

Pairs happily with char siu, roast duck, lamb chops or anything off a grill. Serve slightly cool, around 16-18C.

Tasting notes

Syrah-led Rhone blends usually show blackberry, black pepper and a savoury, smoky note, with medium tannins that typically feel supple rather than grippy.
