Minervois is in the Languedoc, the warm south of France, where reds are usually built on a blend rather than one grape. That climate typically gives you darker fruit and a herbal, sun-baked edge, which is a different animal from Bordeaux or Burgundy.

Good with lamb, grilled meat, stews, or anything with rosemary and garlic in it. Worth a decant. Interesting pick as a gift for a friend who has drunk plenty of Bordeaux and wants something off the usual track. Free delivery over HK$800, flat HK$80 below.
