Faiveley Meursault 1er Cru Charmes 2022 (1x75cl)

Meursault is the Cote de Beaune village people think of when they picture richer white Burgundy, and Les Charmes is one of its premier cru sites. This 2022 from Domaine Faiveley is a white for a dinner where the white course actually matters.

It stands up to lobster, crab, chicken in sauce or a cheese course, and it is a considered gift for someone who already drinks Burgundy. Serve it cool but not ice cold, and give it a proper glass.

Tasting notes

Meursault Chardonnay usually shows citrus, white peach and hazelnut with a fuller, creamy texture and a long, mineral finish. Serve around 11-13°C so the texture is not muted.
