Eikun Kotosennen Junmai Daiginjo 英勲 古都千年 純米大吟釀 1.8L (1x180cl)

This is Eikun's Kotosennen junmai daiginjo from Kyoto, in a 180cl bottle — the 1.8 litre format you see in restaurants and at parties rather than on a dinner table for two. Kyoto has a long sake-brewing tradition built around its soft water.

Junmai daiginjo is the polished, aromatic end of the sake range, made with rice and koji only. Good for a big table, an office celebration, or a restaurant order. Once opened, keep it in the fridge and drink it within a couple of weeks. Free Hong Kong delivery over HK$800.

Tasting notes

Junmai daiginjo typically shows floral and fruit aromatics — melon, pear, sometimes banana — with a clean, refined texture. Usually served chilled, around 10°C, in a small glass rather than warmed.
