Tasmania is the coolest wine state in Australia, which is exactly why Pinot Noir does well down there. Cool climate means the fruit ripens slowly and the wine keeps its freshness instead of turning jammy.

Rama is the cuvee name on the label. Pour it with duck, char siu or a roast at a family dinner, and if you are bringing something to a host who has had enough big Aussie reds, this is a different conversation.

Cool-climate Tasmanian Pinot Noir typically shows red cherry, cranberry and a savoury, spicy note, with fine tannin and bright acidity. Serve lightly chilled.
