Domaine Laporte Sancerre Blanc Le Rochoy 2024 (1x75cl)

Sancerre is a Loire Valley appellation made entirely from Sauvignon Blanc, generally more restrained than the more overtly fruity Marlborough style. 2024 is a young, recently released vintage.

A good comparison bottle if you already know New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc and want to see the Old World version.

Tasting notes

Sancerre usually shows grapefruit, herbs and a chalky, mineral finish, with high acidity and a leaner style than warmer-climate Sauvignon Blanc. Best served well chilled.
