Domaine Daniel Dampt et Fils Chablis 2022 (1x75cl)

Chablis is Chardonnay from the northern edge of Burgundy, and it is the white most Hong Kong seafood dinners are quietly asking for. This is a village level bottling from Domaine Daniel Dampt et Fils, so it is the everyday version rather than the special-occasion one.

Oysters, steamed fish, prawns, a plate of scallops - it does not fight the food. Keep one in the fridge for the nights when dinner is decided on the way home.

Tasting notes

Chablis usually shows citrus and green apple with a chalky, mineral edge and dry, crisp acidity, with little or no obvious oak. Serve around 10-12°C.
