Domaine Aime Arnoux Selection Parcellaire Gigondas 2020 (1x75cl)

Gigondas sits in the Southern Rhone, next door to the more famous names, and the reds there are usually led by Grenache. That means warmth and generosity rather than tight structure, which is why it works so well with food you eat with your hands.

Open it for a home dinner with lamb, sausages, braised beef or a hotpot night when everyone wants red. It is also a good bottle to bring when you want something a bit less predictable than Bordeaux.

Tasting notes

Grenache-led Southern Rhone blends usually show ripe red fruit, dried herbs and a peppery, warm finish, with rounded tannins. Serve around 16-18°C.
