Chateau Troplong Mondot sits on the higher ground of Saint-Emilion on the right bank, where Merlot leads the blend. With more than twenty years in bottle, this 2002 has had time to lose its early edges.

Tasting notes

Merlot-led Saint-Emilion at twenty years usually moves from fresh plum towards dried fruit, tea and savoury, earthy notes, with softened tannins. Serve around 16-18°C.
