Chateau Poujeaux 2019 comes from Moulis-en-Medoc, where the estate's 70 hectares sit on the summit of the Grand Poujeaux slopes, mostly on quaternary gravel. The estate's technical page describes vines averaging 30 years old, hand harvesting in small baskets, sorting by hand and by optical machine, whole-berry fermentation with gentle extraction, and 12 months of ageing with 30% new oak.
