Chateau Petit Village 2016 (1x75cl)

Petit Village is a well-regarded Pomerol estate built mainly on Merlot, and 2016 is considered one of the stronger recent Bordeaux vintages. It's approachable now but should still have room to develop over the next several years.

Decant before serving with roast beef, duck, or a rich mushroom risotto.

Tasting notes

Pomerol Merlot-based reds typically show plum and dark cherry fruit with a plush, velvety texture and softer tannin than the Médoc's Cabernet-led wines.
