Chateau Lynch Bages 2013 (1x75cl)

Lynch Bages is one of Pauillac's well-known fifth growths, built mainly on Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot in the mix. 2013 is generally seen as a lighter, earlier-drinking Bordeaux vintage, which can make it an easier bottle to open sooner rather than waiting decades.

Works well for a dinner with grilled or roasted meat, or as a Bordeaux name people will recognise on a gift table.

Tasting notes

Pauillac reds like this typically show blackcurrant and cedar notes with firm, structured tannins, usually softening with an hour or two of air or a proper decant.
