Chateau Ducru Beaucaillou 2011, St. Julien (1x75cl)

Ducru-Beaucaillou is a Second Growth from Saint-Julien, often talked about in the trade as being priced and regarded closer to a First Growth. 2011 was a moderate Bordeaux vintage.

Now with well over a decade of age, it's in a good window to open.

Tasting notes

Saint-Julien reds usually sit between Margaux's perfume and Pauillac's structure, showing cassis and cedar. With this much age, expect more savoury, developed character.
