Margaux is the left bank appellation people usually reach for when they want perfume and finesse rather than sheer weight. Cantenac Brown 2017 fits that brief and is comfortable on a dinner table rather than locked in a cellar.

Nice with roast lamb, beef, or duck. Decant for about an hour if you are drinking it this year.
