Chateau Boyd Cantenac 2016, Margaux (1x75cl)

A Margaux from 2016, an appellation known for aromatic, finer-boned left bank reds. Boyd-Cantenac is a smaller name than the labels everyone can recite, which often makes it a more interesting bottle to bring to a dinner.

Give it an hour in a decanter, or keep it a few more years if you like your Bordeaux with age on it.

Tasting notes

Margaux reds usually show violet, red cherry and blackcurrant with cedar from barrel ageing, and tannins that typically feel polished rather than heavy.
