Bumbu XO Rum (1x70cl)

Bumbu XO is an aged rum from Barbados, in the sweeter, rounder camp rather than the dry and funky end of the category. The bottle itself is distinctive enough that people notice it on a shelf, which does no harm when it's a gift.

Drink it neat or over a single big cube — this is not really the one to bury in a cocktail. Good for after dinner, and an approachable bottle for guests who find whisky a bit much.

Tasting notes

Aged Barbados rum in this style usually leans sweet and smooth, with vanilla, caramel and banana or coconut notes and a soft, warming finish. Typically best neat or on a large ice cube.
