Syrah from South Africa's Coastal Region, made in the Bernard Series. Basket pressing is the old, gentle way of doing it, which is why the name says so on the front.

Tasting notes

South African Syrah usually shows dark fruit with a savoury, peppery edge, typically with medium to full body and moderate tannin. Open it half an hour before dinner and serve slightly below room temperature.
