This is Ardbeg 10 Year Old in the Mor format: a 450cl bottle, 4.5 litres, which is six standard bottles' worth of whisky in one piece of glass. As the name states, it comes without the box. Worth knowing before you buy, and worth knowing it's heavy.

Tasting notes

Islay single malts are known for peat smoke, and a 10 year old from the island typically shows that smoke alongside brine, citrus and a touch of vanilla from the cask. Usually best with a few drops of water, not ice.
