Los Vascos Sauvignon Blanc 2024 is a Colchagua Valley white from Domaines Barons de Rothschild Lafite’s Chilean estate. The official US importer (Palm Bay / DBR Lafite) technical listing for 2024 gives 100% Sauvignon Blanc at 12.0% alcohol (total acidity 4.18 g/L; pH 3.18; screw cap). Fruit is sourced mainly from the cooler parts of the estate; after a few hours of cold maceration, the must is pressed and fermented at low temperature in stainless-steel tanks, then partly aged on lees for balance between roundness and freshness.

Tasting notes

The importer sheet describes pale yellow with greenish tints; vibrant citrus and herbal notes with passion fruit, fresh pineapple and white peach; and a fruity, well-balanced palate with good acidity and volume.
