Chateau Lafitte 2022 is a Cotes de Bordeaux red led by Merlot, at 80% of the blend, and aged 16 months in barrels. The estate quotes the Hachette wine guide, which called this 2022 complete, harmonious and an indisputable success, with good keeping potential.

Tasting notes

As quoted by the estate, the Hachette guide describes a deep colour and a charming, ripe nose with skilful oak and notes of slightly candied black fruit. The attack is full, with a sunny palate, ripe liquorice tannins and a freshness it says is not always found in 2022.
