Collection: Italy

Italian wine, delivered in Hong Kong. Two things Italy does that nowhere else does the same way: Sangiovese, and a set of Cabernet-based wines from the Tuscan coast that broke the rules and became classics.

Tuscany. Antinori's Tignanello and Chianti Classico Riserva; Tenuta San Guido's Sassicaia; Brunello di Montalcino from Il Poggione, Capanna and Casanova di Neri.

Whites. Antinori's Cervaro della Sala from Umbria, and La Spinetta's Timorasso from Piedmont — a grape that had almost disappeared thirty years ago.

Which to open when. Chianti Classico Riserva suits a weeknight table with food. Brunello wants time in the glass and something substantial to eat. Sassicaia and Tignanello are the ones people keep.
