Every sweet wine we carry, from a light Moscato to Sauternes and Tokaji.

How the sugar gets there. Three routes: noble rot, where a fungus shrivels the grape and concentrates it (Sauternes, Tokaji); drying or freezing the fruit (Passito, ice wine); or stopping the fermentation with spirit before the yeast finishes (Port, Banyuls). The first two taste of the grape concentrated; the third carries the spirit. Half bottles suit a table of two — a sweet wine keeps for days once opened.
