A note on price in Hong Kong. Wine and anything under 30% ABV carries no duty here. Spirits above 30% still do, though the rate was cut in October 2024 — the portion of the import price above HK$200 is now taxed at 10% instead of 100%. Bottles at the higher end became noticeably cheaper as a result.
