Tasting notes

Chardonnay grown in the Yarra's cooler conditions usually reads more citrus and orchard fruit than tropical, with a savoury edge and a long line of acidity. Serve it cold but not freezing, ideally in a decent white-wine glass, alongside scallops, steamed fish or roast chicken.
