Turning Heads Sauvignon Blanc 2025 is a Marlborough white from Rose Family Estate. The estate says Phil and Chris Rose planted their first vines in the lower Wairau Valley in 1978 after a long consent battle, and today farms about 500 hectares of estate vineyards, harvesting and processing fruit within about an hour of picking. For this Sauvignon Blanc, the producer says grapes from family vineyards across Marlborough are harvested in the cool morning hours, gently pressed and fermented in stainless-steel vats, then settled on light lees before bottling at the estate.
Tasting notes
The producer describes intense tropical and citrus aromatics with vibrant acidity, notes of nettles, pink grapefruit and fresh currants, and a crisply defined palate underlined with minerality, lingering with guava and ripe pear.
