Serafin Pere et Fils, Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Le Fonteny 2018 (1x75cl)

Another of the portfolio’s highlights is the 2018 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Fonteny, a dramatic wine that soars from the glass with aromas of cherries, cassis, burning embers, dark chocolate and spices. On the palate, it’s medium to full-bodied, supple and succulent, its rich structuring tannins cloaked in ripe but lively fruit. Reviewed by The Wine Advocate in Feb 2020.
