The most intense purple black colour. The nose is Serafin at its richest and close to best. There is a slight sun-dried cherry feeling indicating the sunny summer. The Charmes-Chambertin gets fresher with aeration, which is surely a good sign. Plenty of weight up front, a little less concentrated behind. Perhaps just still very backward. Drink from 2032-2050.
