Pagodes de Cos 2012 (1x75cl)

Les Pagodes de Cos is the second wine of Cos d'Estournel in Saint-Estephe, which is usually how people get a taste of an estate's style without going for the main label. Second wines generally come from younger vines or parcels the estate sets aside, and they tend to be more approachable earlier.

The 2012 has had over a decade in bottle already. A solid choice for a dinner with friends who know Bordeaux, or as a client gift where the Cos name carries weight in Hong Kong. Free delivery over HK$800, HK$80 below that, usually 2-5 business days.

Saint-Estephe reds typically run darker and firmer than their neighbours - blackcurrant, dark plum, a touch of graphite and earth, with sturdy tannins.
