Luce della Vite Tenuta Luce 2018 (1x75cl)

This is the Tenuta Luce bottling, the estate's Toscana wine. To be clear, it is not the Brunello: a different wine from the same address, made as a Tuscan blend rather than a single-grape Montalcino red.

Blended Tuscan reds tend to be a little more approachable at the table than a young Brunello, which makes this a practical bottle for a dinner with guests. It also carries well as a gift for someone who follows Italian wine, since the estate name does the talking.

Tasting notes

A Tuscan blend usually shows dark cherry and plum with savoury herbs and rounded tannin. Typically good with red meat, pasta in a rich sauce, or a Sunday roast.
