Krispel Grauburgunder Hochstrandl, Vulkanland Steiermark DAC 2020 (1x75cl)

Grauburgunder is the Austrian name for Pinot Gris, and in Vulkanland Steiermark's volcanic soils it usually shows a fuller body and riper pear fruit than the leaner Chardonnay from the same area. Krispel makes both styles from vineyards in this region.

Pairs naturally with richer seafood or poultry dishes, and works well as a slightly unusual but easy-to-explain gift.
