Escarpment Pinot Noir Martinborough 2022 (Screw Cap) (1x75cl)

Martinborough sits at the southern end of New Zealand's North Island and is known for Pinot Noir. If you already drink Burgundy, this is the same grape from a different address, usually a touch more upfront with its fruit.

It comes with a screw cap, which is standard in New Zealand. No cork, no corkscrew, nothing to break at a picnic or a hotpot table. Useful when you are bringing wine somewhere that does not have a proper opener.

Tasting notes

Martinborough Pinot Noir usually shows dark cherry, plum and a herbal, savoury edge, with fine tannin and good acidity. Serve slightly cool.
