大那 進擊的巨人 無垢巨人 純米吟釀 - Daina's BEYOND THE WALL Pure Titan Edition, a junmai ginjo sake from Tochigi, released as an Attack on Titan collaboration. Two things worth knowing about the grade: junmai means rice, water, koji and yeast only, with nothing added, and ginjo means the rice was polished further back than standard before brewing, which is the step that pushes the style towards something more aromatic and fine-grained.
Be honest about why a bottle like this moves in Hong Kong: it is as much a present for a fan as it is something to drink. If the person on your list has opinions about the series, this does a job that a plain bottle cannot - birthday, Mid-Autumn, or the office gift exchange.
Tasting notes
Junmai ginjo is usually served chilled rather than warmed - fridge-cold to lightly chilled, roughly 8-12C, in a wine glass if you want the aromatics. Keep it away from heavy sauces; sashimi, chilled tofu, steamed seafood or grilled chicken skewers sit better next to it.
