七田 純米 Shichida Junmai (1x72cl)

Junmai means rice, water and koji, and nothing else added. Shichida comes out of Saga in Kyushu, and this is the kind of bottle you open on an ordinary Wednesday rather than saving for a special occasion that never comes.

It sits well with hot pot, sashimi, grilled fish, even takeaway. Keep it in the fridge once opened and finish it within a few days. Free delivery in Hong Kong over HK$800, flat HK$80 below that, 2-5 business days.

Tasting notes

Junmai sake usually has more body and rice character than lighter styles, typically with a savoury, slightly grainy depth and a dry finish. Good chilled, and many junmai also warm up nicely.
