Douglas Laing's Dailuaine 10 Years Old (1x70cl)

A Speyside single malt from the Dailuaine distillery, bottled at 10 years by Douglas Laing. To be plain about it: this is an independent bottling, not an official distillery release — an independent bottler buys casks and bottles them under its own label, so the style can differ from anything the distillery puts out itself.

Dailuaine rarely appears as a single malt on its own, so this is one for the curious drinker. Neat or with a few drops of water; good gift for someone who reads the back label.

Tasting notes

Speyside malt at this age typically shows baked apple, barley sugar and dried fruit with a light spice on the finish. A few drops of water usually opens it up.
