Winery Introduction

Domaine Simha is an avant-garde winery located at the edge of the world on the island of Tasmania (Lutruwita), founded by Nav Singh and Louise Radman. The winemaking philosophy here is based on intuition, focusing on creating living wines. Each season, only a few barrels of each wine are produced, rooted in Tasmania’s pristine natural environment, sparkling air, and ancient soil.

Domaine Simha wines are handcrafted in micro-batches, sourcing magical vineyards in the Upper Derwent, Coal River, and Huon Valleys, partnering with expert growers. Single vineyard wines are shaped au naturel to harness the unique terroir and season of Tasmania. Harvesting is done by hand according to the lunar cycle on fruit and flower days, using low-intervention techniques like whole bunch wild fermentation, foot stomping, and gentle pigeage, resulting in wines with beautiful light, shade, and perfume, along with seamless tannin structure. Utilizing clay amphorae, ceramic eggs, and large custom demi-muid oak barrels allows the fruit to shine. Wines are basket pressed, bottled unfined and unfiltered with perfect natural balance, powerful foundations, and cellar-worthy longevity.
