The 2022 Irancy Veauchassy sees 16 months in oak barrels. It has a bright bouquet of crushed strawberries and cranberries. Perhaps it's not quite as complex as the best in this vintage, yet it has charm. The palate is medium-bodied with a fleshy entry, bright black cherries and strawberry fruit with a very cohesive and silky smooth finish. Very polished. Excellent. Tasted blind at the BIVB tasting in Chablis by Neal Martin in June 2024.
