Chateau Desmirail 2015 (1x75cl)

Chateau Desmirail 2015 is a Margaux red from an estate classified as a Third Growth in 1855. The official technical sheet gives a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot, 13.5% alcohol, harvest from 21 September to 9 October 2015, bottled 10 May 2017, with consultant Eric Boissenot. Merlot and Petit Verdot were picked first; Cabernet Sauvignon followed once fully ripe.

Tasting notes

The estate highlights relatively high degrees and a nice tannic density for this vintage ending in 5, in the line of earlier landmark years but richer in tannin and ripeness.
