Chateau Cantenac Brown, Margaux 2021 (1x75cl)

Chateau Cantenac Brown 2021 is a Margaux red from an estate classified as a Third Growth in 1855. The official estate vintage sheet gives a blend of 73% Cabernet Sauvignon and 27% Merlot, aged in French oak — 60% new and 40% one-vintage barrels. Harvest: Merlot 23–24 September and 27 September–4 October; Cabernet Franc 1 October; Cabernet Sauvignon 4–12 October, with cold dry mornings favouring the Cabernets after a year of frost and humid early summer. About 51% of production entered the Grand Vin.

Tasting notes

The estate describes very aromatic first vats with raspberry; softer Merlots and more concentrated Cabernets; a round, full-bodied blend with fine, elegant tannins — typically Bordeaux.
