Carmes De Rieussec, Sauternes 2015 (1x37.5cl)

Carmes de Rieussec 2015 is the second wine of Château Rieussec in Sauternes (Domaines Barons de Rothschild Lafite). The official Lafite group 2015 technical presentation gives a Carmes blend of 87% Sémillon, 7% Sauvignon Blanc and 6% Muscadelle. The Sauternes harvest for the property ran from 9 September to 27 October 2015 after a hot summer moderated by August rains.

As Rieussec’s second label, Carmes offers the estate’s botrytised Sauternes style in a more approachable frame — honeyed Semillon richness with fresher Sauvignon lift.

This is an older vintage. It was sourced from a reliable, proven source, checked for authenticity by our in-house sommelier, and stored in our constant-temperature cellar after arrival.
