Hong Kong Online Wine Shop is an online-only wine and spirits retailer, based in Hong Kong and delivering across the city. We list thousands of wines and spirits — from HK$188 everyday bottles to Bordeaux first growths — and we sell them one bottle at a time.
Gold, twice
Wine-Searcher runs annual Retailer Awards that judge stores on the breadth, quality and availability of their price list. Every month they take a snapshot of what a store actually has in stock, and a store has to hold a list continuously for twelve months to qualify.
We were awarded Gold — Online List in Hong Kong in 2024, and again in 2025/26.

No minimum order — on purpose
Most Hong Kong flats have nowhere to keep a case of wine, and the heat and humidity are hard on bottles left out. So we do not ask you to buy six. Order one bottle if that is what you need. Free delivery over HK$800; under that, a flat HK$80.
Why wine costs less here
Hong Kong abolished duty on wine in 2008, and there is no sales tax or VAT. In most producing countries a bottle carries excise duty plus VAT of 20% or more. That is why the same wine is often cheaper in Hong Kong than in the country it came from.
