Yamazaki 12 from Suntory's distillery near Kyoto — a Japanese single malt most people in Hong Kong have heard of, and one of the few bottles you can hand to almost anyone without explaining it. Japanese malt is usually built around balance and a softer, more delicate profile than Scotch.
